Description
The TDX-1250 represents the industry’s first 1250 ton top drive. This tool was designed and delivered to handle the world’s most immense drilling conditions and operate in a near 100% uptime environment needed for today’s high specification offshore platforms.
NOV has taken decades of combined experience from Varco, Hydralift, and National Oilwell to create a top drive centered around an engineering philosophy designed around durability, redundancy, and modularity.
The TDX-1250 incorporates these principals through its compact and powerful package. Its size, power, performance and features cannot be found by any other oilfield service provider and is backed by NOV’s dedication to creating newer and enhanced technology for the drilling industry.
